As a blogger, I thoroughly enjoy reading books on blogging. They are usually chalk full of tips, tricks, ideas and inspirations about blogging, typically written by other successful bloggers who obviously know what they’re talking about.

Here is a list of my top 5 favourite books on blogging.

5. 365 Blog Topic Ideas contains an entire year’s worth of blog topic ideas that is sure to get you out of even the worst blogger’s rut.

Whether you are new to blogging or a seasoned pro, this handy little book has what you need to keep writing and fall in love with blogging all over again.

2Q==-14. Epic Blog: One-Year Editorial Planner is a guide, brought to you by Regina Anaejionu of ByRegina.com, is set up with blank months so that you can start at any month in any year to begin your blog planning.

This guide provides you with the tools you need to create a mini blog business plan, ideal reader survey, monthly theme planning, monthly content planning and standard monthly calendars.

Each month includes a page to plan, a page to track progress on key stats and goals after the month ends, two pages per month to brainstorm content ideas for your blog, email list, products, and collaborations, as well as space near the monthly calendar to write notes or record your content ideas before plugging them into your calendar.

Stay focused and create compelling content that encourages blog growth and increased profits.

Z3. Blogging for Creatives has a non-techie approach to teaching creative bloggers how to design and host a blog, how to stay fresh and how to connect with an audience.

The book contains many tips and advice from accomplished creative bloggers from several niches.

2Q==-12. Brought to you by Ruth Soukup of the Living Well, Spending Less blog, How to Blog for Profit: Without Selling Your Soul is a complete guide on how to start and maintain a blog and, eventually, how to monetize that blog.

It will take you through the steps on creating quality content, marketing through social media, diversifying your income strategy and working harder not smarter.

I loved this book and refer back to it often whenever I am starting a new Pinterest campaign or working toward gaining affiliate sales.

1. In my opinion Blog, Inc. is the Bible of blogging books. Written by Joy Cho of the blog, Oh Joy, this tomb is bursting with information and case studies.

It has tips on how to attract a readership, how to finance your blog, how to develop your own voice, how to create a media kit, how to partner with sponsors and how to go full time with your blog.

It is extremely well written and well research.

I believe that it is an invaluable read for all those who are just getting started with their blogs and for those ready to take their blogs to the next level.
